Couple Relationships in the 21st Century
As a way of ensuring that we retain a policy-practice relevant dimension throughout the project, we are committed to working with third sector organisations which support couples and families.
Third sector organisations provide a crucial link between academic research, policy making and service delivery. We are working closely with the following organisations:
Relate offers advice, relationship counselling, sex therapy, workshops, mediation, consultations and support face-to-face, by phone and through its website.
One Plus One puts research into practice. It investigates what makes relationships work – or fall apart – and make the findings accessible to everyone.
PACE is London's leading charity promoting the mental health and emotional well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Established in 1948, The Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships is the leading charity provider of highly specialised and affordable couple and parent counselling and psychotherapy.

The service provides family, marital and individual counselling to the Asian community.

The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations is a not-for-profit organisation which applies social science to contemporary issues and problems.

Marriage Care provides preparation, relationship counselling, relationship education and a telephone helpline. It also offers general support and advice to those who want to marry or enter long-term relationships.
