Race and ethnicity

The Open University is committed to becoming an anti-racist institution.

That's why we have worked with our BME Staff Network to compile this selection of resources that relate to various aspects of race and ethnicity. You can find articles, videos and courses below. Most are grouped by the subject matter they relate to, but we also have some free courses for you to consider, as well as research that has been undertaken by OU postgraduate researchers. We hope these resources give you a great starting point to learn more about the history and experiences of people of colour. Our thanks go to the BME Staff Network for their contributions.

If you would like to share your thoughts and ideas, please give us your suggestions or feedback.
