The University has eleven twin 7KW Chargemaster electric vehicle charging posts available for staff and one twin charging post for visitors at Walton Hall. There is also a wall-mounted post at Wellingborough Warehouse for visitors and staff.
We have also introduced electric vans to our fleet of vehicles in line with the OU’s sustainability initiative and hope to expand use across the University.
The OU runs an electric vehicle membership scheme which is a not for profit, not for loss facility.

Using public charging posts are easily accessed across the UK in supermarkets, car parks, hotels, service stations, just to name a few. You can visit Carwow who have an EV charging point finder for the UK. |
Please follow the tabs to the right for information on charging for OU Staff and Visitors at Walton Hall.
